The Rescue Brigade Naarden has been providing assistance on the Gooi- en IJmeer for more than 50 years. In addition, more than 70 children swim as future lifeguards every week, because the Naarden Rescue Brigade is above all an active swimming association.
Roughly 100 times a year the Naarden Rescue Brigade sets out to provide assistance following accidents and dangerous situations on the water. In addition, parents and children can go here for courses in lifesaving swimming, but also for competitive swimming. Children from the age of 6 and in possession of swimming certificates A and B can become members of the Naarden Rescue Brigade.
We can't live in this water-rich country without good Rescue Brigades! All members of the organisation work on a voluntary basis. With a strong and professional team, they can be deployed for water relief on the Gooi- en IJmeer and are deployed in the event of major water calamities and floods in the Netherlands. Support the Naarden Brigade: become a member, sponsor or make a one-off contribution. On behalf of all water sports enthusiasts, thank you!
